About Us

For as long as I remember we have always played with words. Words were the main theme of our world both between my sister and me and with our parents.

When you grow up with a father who worked as a free-lance translator for over 40 years and a mother who taught English in high school, dividing your time between schools in England and in Italy; it’s hardly surprising you end up bilingual!

Many people are fluent in both English and Italian, but being able to think and act in both languages is much rarer; to be able to wear either skin according to necessity is rarer still: we don’t just think, talk or write English or Italian: we are English or Italian according to need and circumstance!

Points of view, feelings, outlooks: there are often great differences between these countries, but we have soaked up the culture of both worlds and move from one to the other equally at home.
We said our service offers two for the price of one:

Two people
Two languages
Two countries
…… at your service!
Tradition is a guide and not a jailer.
